Sebastian has released a brand new track and video today, ‘Thirst’.
The film is by Gaspar Noé (‘Irréversible’, ‘Enter The Void’, ‘CLIMAX’), who Sebastian previously collaborated with for his 2012 video ‘Love In Motion’. The hyper-realistic video for ‘Thirst’ is set under a nightclub’s strobing lights, where conflicts of masculine violence take the viewer on a disturbing, vertigo-inducing rollercoaster ride.
‘Thirst’ sees Sebastian deftly combine cinematic musical styles including futuristic electro and R&B, culminating in a fitting soundtrack to its brutal accompanying visual – a visceral and violent representation of our times.
The video is produced by French fashion house Saint Laurent, which continues the collaboration between Sebastian and the luxury label’s creative director Anthony Vaccarello. Last year, Sebastian created the soundtrack for the company’s autumn/winter 2017 collection which was unveiled in Paris.
