Iconic DJ and producer Pete Tong, named ‘global ambassador for electronic music’ by DJ Mag, joins the line up after recently releasing his UK Number 1 album ‘Classic House’ – the biggest selling debut record released in 2016. Legendary DJ David Rodigan MBE, two-time DJ Award-winner Jamie Jones and UK top 40 DJ Hannah Wants all join the line up today. Performing on the Sounds of the Near Future stage on Saturday is Tom Misch, South London DJ and ‘one of the UK’s most exciting new producers’ according to Mixmag.
Headlining the WILD LIFE stage will be the Grammy Award-winning Jess Glynne and Brighton’s own Fatboy Slim with a Saturday main stage headliner still to be announced. Also featured on the WILD LIFE line up are legendary ten time Grammy Award-winning Chaka Khan, two time BRITs Award nominated Zara Larsson and legendary drum and bass DJ, producer and co-founder of RAM Records Andy C. Also announced today is the line-up for elrow’s highly-anticipated Sambodromo De Brasil, a Brazilian jungle themed party with stilt-walking samba dancers, endless confetti and Amazonian party people bearing gifts like cassava snacks and other Brazillian delicacies. As well as Jamie Jones, acts to play the elrow stage include American DJ duo The Martinez Brothers, Jackmaster, the Scottish DJ and co-founder of label and club night Numbers, Solardo – dubbed a ‘meteorically rising UK techno duo’ by Data Transmission. Renowned Dutch DJ and producer Joris Voorn, described by Resident Advisor as ‘one of the most relevant techno producers of this time’ will also be joining the line up.

WILD LIFE Festival 2017 (crowned Best New Festival 2015 – UK Festival Awards) will take place at Shoreham’s Brighton City Airport for its third year, bringing festival-goers an extensive mix of music from emerging talent on the Sounds of the Near stage to the massive and legendary artists headlining the WILD LIFE stage.
Fatboy Slim said:
“I always try to do something big in Brighton and I’m delighted to be included in this year’s WILD LIFE Festival after watching it grow literally on my doorstep. It’s the only festival I can walk to and hear from my house!”
SJM Concerts Event Manager Steve Walton said:
“There are some very exciting changes this year. Due to an overwhelming response from our post event research and feedback, WILD LIFE is moving to a Friday and Saturday. With a 1am finish both nights the festival moves into a new sphere that very few events offer, allowing us an increased the number of stages for a broader spectrum of music.
Jess Glynne opened our inaugural festival, so to have her back as one of our headliners is going to be really special. Her career so far has been phenomenal. We are particularly pleased to welcome Fatboy Slim to WILD LIFE who will be playing his first outdoor hometown set since 2015 and will be bringing his world renowned show with him.
We can’t wait to come back this June with a huge variety of artists once again.”
