World-renowned pianist and composer Chad Lawson invites us to find calm amidst the chaos and reflect on life’s priceless moments with his forthcoming EP irreplaceable. Recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios and due out May 13 via Decca Records US, the lush four-track collection showcases Lawson’s signature sound as each note brushes across a canvas of emotions.
The Billboard chart-topper’s breathtaking melodies aim to settle the mind and impact the heart as he sweeps listeners away in a cathartic journey of release. “irreplaceable is about that person you could never live without, or that favourite time in your life, or that favourite memory that always brings a smile,” says Lawson. “Take a moment to appreciate those irreplaceables in your life.”
The EP not only reflects on precious moments and memories, but it also solidifies Lawson’s singular role as musical mindfulness advocate and composer modernising piano music for the streaming age.

The irreplaceable EP marks the next chapter in a career that’s consistently found the official Steinway artist at the top of the Classical Billboard charts and signing major sync deals for Chevrolet, IBM, Microsoft, and Delta Airlines commercials. Before his solo piano debut in 2009 with Set On A Hill, Lawson toured with Julio Iglesias’ live band. His 2020 critically-acclaimed Decca debut You Finally Knew earned over 200 million global streams and established him as both a musician and a mindfulness advocate. That same year Lawson launched the Calm it Down podcast and WQXR radio show that seeks to help listeners recharge and find their inner resilience through the meditative power of music. Irreplaceable is the next phase in Lawson’s journey of using his extraordinary musical talent to help others; a collection that is timely as it is timeless.
