Pet Shop Boys release their new album ‘Super’ on x2 Records (through Kobalt Label Services) on April 1. The album was written in London and Berlin and produced and mixed by Stuart Price in Los Angeles. It features 12 new Tennant/Lowe compositions including the lead single, ‘The Pop Kids’. ‘Super’ will be available on CD, vinyl and digitally.

The first single to be released from the album is ‘The Pop Kids’, a classic PSB anthem which evokes the London club scene of the early 90s.
Pet Shop Boys have also confirmed a residency of four very special concerts at London’s Royal Opera House on July 20, 21, 22, 23. Entitled ‘Inner Sanctum’, the concerts will be the only opportunity to see this brand new, site-specific Pet Shop Boys show which is being staged by long-term PSB designer Es Devlin and choreographer Lynne Page.
Pet Shop Boys said today: “It was fantastic to be back in the studio with Stuart Price continuing from where we left off with ‘Electric’ and we’re thrilled with the results. It’s also very exciting to take electronic music into the Royal Opera House – such a grand and beautiful venue. These will be four very special nights for us and our only UK concerts this year.”
‘Super’ is available for pre-order on iTunes now with ‘Inner sanctum’ available for immediate download. The CD pre-order commences on Amazon tomorrow (January 22).
