PALOMA FAITH LAUNCHES ART COLLABORATION IN ASSOCIATION WITH TALENTHOUSE, TO BE CO-JUDGED BY RANKIN AND LIBERTY
HER ALBUM ‘A PERFECT CONTRADICTION’ HAS NOW GONE PLATINUM IN THE UK
Paloma Faith launches an art collaboration in association with Talenthouse, the global online community of creatives, today. The initiative invites artists, designers, illustrators and fans from around the world to design their own interpretation of Paloma’s incredible third album ‘A Perfect Contradiction’, which has just been certified platinum in the UK.
Paloma and a team of judges including Rankin, and representatives from Liberty department store will judge the competition.
The winner will receive $1,300 (£800), a meeting with a Sony Music Creative and tickets to Paloma’s 2015 tour with a meet and greet (travel & accommodation not included). And the winning artwork will:
· Be turned into Paloma Faith’s limited edition poster for ‘A Perfect Contradiction’
· Feature on Paloma’s social skins for a one week takeover
· Feature on Hunger TV http://www.hungertv.com
· Produced into a piece of merchandise
Paloma said: “The visual element to my work is incredibly important to me, and I am so excited to launch this competition and find some amazing new artists out there!”
Entrants will use Paloma’s current album artwork (designed and photographed by David Standish), music and general persona for inspiration, with a view to the finished piece being turned into a poster.
