Murray Chalmers PR (MCPR) today announces a series of new hires and client wins.
Fiona Raisbeck and George Cochran join the team as publicists, whilst Jack Beadle will assume the role of senior publicist with immediate effect. Previously at BBC Radio, Fiona joins the MCPR team to work across both Brands and Events and music clients, while George, formerly of Six07 Press, will work solely across music clients. Jack Beadle is promoted from his role as publicist.
New clients for the MCPR Brands and Events Division include: housing and homelessness charity Shelter and its ‘Gimme Shelter’ series of live events, young person’s cancer charity Trekstock and their launch of limited edition band tees designed by a range of bands and artists, plus Homo Sapiens, the LGBT podcast from Will Young and Chris Sweeney. The Division also welcomes the return of Beautycon Festival London, the US social talent festival – December 2017, the Attitude Awards – October 2017, and the Winq Men of the Year Dinner – late 2017.
Following MCPR’s newly implemented service led approach, including Personal PR, social media advisory and more, new multi-genre clients include Will Young (multiple projects), E4’s Celebs Go Dating’s dating expert Eden Blackman, and Trevor Horn.
New music clients include: House veteran Steve Angello (print + online), The Horrors (print + online) and Swedish DJ-producer, Avicii (international, print + online.)
The new hires and series of new client wins follow last month’s announcement that MCPR has officially launched MCPR Scotland in alliance with Jennie Patterson of Patter PR, to provide a fully integrated PR service for brands, events, art, design and tourism in Scotland.
