Hailing from the streets of Liverpool, Louis Berry is a switch blade songwriter with a voice of soul who channels the raw power of legends such as Johnny Cash as well as modern-day raconteurs like Alex Turner in his storytelling.
He is now releasing the track ’25 Reasons’ on his own label ‘Cuban Records’. ‘25 Reasons’ is an escape artist’s tale: a sarcastic twist on love’s emotions, delivered in a raucous three-minutes by “a very lonely rebel with a very revolutionary mind.”
After his explosive debut gig for BBC Introducing, Louis saw sudden success around his track ‘.45’ last year, with Zane Lowe quickly picking it up as his Next Hype for his Radio 1 show, with further support coming from the likes of Huw Stephens, Phil Taggart and XFM.
