THE EP FEATURES 4 NEW SONGS INCLUDING THE LEAD TITLE TRACK FEATURING FRENCH MONTANA
Liam Payne will release a brand new EP this Friday 24th August via Capitol Records. The EP will feature four brand new songs including the title track, ‘First Time’, which features acclaimed hip-hop artist French Montana.
Of the EP, Liam says:
“As you may know, the last few months have seen some big changes for me …I looked at some of the songs on my album which were done a while ago and they felt from another age. I’m determined for my debut album to truly represent me.
I’m now back in the studio working hard to finalise the final few new songs on the record – I’m genuinely excited about the music I’m writing and recording and I can’t wait for it to be ready for you all, watch this space.
In the meantime, this EP is a collection of songs that I’m really proud of and want you all to hear…tell me what you think. As always, thanks for your support – it means the world to me.”

The EP opens with ‘First Time’; the sultry, Latin-infused track which features US rapper French Montana. The next song ‘Home With You’, is a plea to leave together for somewhere quieter, away from where there are “too many cooks in the kitchen, too many fools here listening.” ‘Depend On It’, is a tender, stripped back piano ballad featuring Liam’s raw and honest vocals. The song shows Liam at his most vulnerable, lamenting on the problems of a relationship, and whether it can be saved. ‘Slow’ closes the four-track EP, and is a direct and frank acknowledgement of the end of a couple’s relationship…

It is certified Platinum in five countries including the UK and USA, and was one of the biggest selling singles of 2017, as well as the biggest selling solo single from any current member of One Direction.
