J HUS JOINS THE FRIDAY LINE-UP AT LOVEBOX FOR HIS ONLY UK FESTIVAL APPEARANCE OF 2019

Lovebox today announce that rapper J Hus will join the Main Stage Friday line-up in a UK festival exclusive. He joins an already impressive line-up with sure to be unforgettable performances across the weekend by headliner Chance The Rapper, Giggs, Solange, BROCKHAMPTON (UK Exclusive), 2 Chainz, Lizzo, slowthai, Loyle Carner, Cypress Hill performing ‘Black Sunday’ in full (UK Exclusive), as well as some of the biggest names in electronic music including Four Tet, Solomun, Green Velvet, Annie Mac, Jayda G, Charlotte de Witte and more. Since its conception, Lovebox has ensured championing home-grown British talent is a key component of the festival’s ethos and the inclusion of Stratford-born J Hus to this year’s line-up continues that commitment. After first stepping onto the UK music scene in 2015 with the release of his track ‘Dem Boy Paigon’, J Hus has quickly become one of the UK’s most loved rappers. His 2017 single ‘Did You See’ became a cult hit, reaching the Top 10 in the UK singles chart and eventually going on to become certified Platinum. Later that year, J Hus released his acclaimed debut album ‘Common Sense’, which reached Number 6 in the UK.

J Hus will perform at Lovebox on Friday 12th July. Other Friday artists include headliner Solange, Cypress Hill performing ‘Black Sunday’ in full (UK Exclusive), 2 Chainz, Loyle Carner, Kaytranada, slowthai, Solomun, Green Velvet and more. While the Saturday acts include headliner Chance The Rapper, Giggs, BROCKHAMPTON (UK Exclusive), H.E.R. (UK Exclusive), Lizzo, Four Tet, Jayda G, Charlotte de Witte, Annie Mac and more.
