Following a monumental year which saw a UK Number 1 single and BRIT Nomination, Interplanetary Criminal returns with All Thru The Night. Out 29 March 2023 via the influential label Locked On RecordsAll Thru The Night is a 15-track compilation of entirely new music from the very best in UK Garage including Main Phase, Bakey and Highrise. The compilation features artwork by cult-Manchester designer, DONKWEAR.

To celebrate the announcement, Interplanetary Criminal today releases a brand-new single titled “Don’t Hurt Me”, made in collaboration with the dynamic Manchester band, Porij. The new track sees original dreamlike vocals by Porij layered on top of a bouncy, rave-infused garage-house beat. Discussing the track, Porij said – “Lyrically this track’s all about letting go of reservations and allowing yourself to be vulnerable. I hope people take this uninhibited energy to the dance floor”.

Don’t Hurt Me” is the fourth track to be revealed from All Thru The Night, following 2022 releases “Why” by Interplanetary Criminal, “O.B.F.C” by Ell Murphy and Chavinski, “A Love Like” by Ollie Rant and the more recent “Last One” from Leeds-based DJ and producer Bakey.

All Thru The Night comes 25 years after Locked On Records first ever compilation by legendary Garage-House DJ and producer, Todd Edwards. The compilations were started as a way of documenting the underground pirate radio sounds of the time; collected and curated at North London’s Pure Groove Records. The likes of Tuff Jam and Ramsey & Fen delivered music from Jeremy Sylvester, MJ Cole, Dreem Teem, Dem 2, H2O and Tina Moore on compilations so influential, they’ve gone on to become highly regarded as classics. Now, Interplanetary Criminal steps up to spotlight the power of this generation’s UK Garage scene.

Speaking on the forthcoming release, Interplanetary Criminal says…

“The Garage scene is thriving. I wanted to make sure every crucial artist from all sides of the UK Garage scene was featured; from the moment it started popping off in 2019 to now. When I reached out to people, I told them the brief was to “make the most authentic UK Garage record that you could” and that’s what they’ve done. All Thru the Night shows the underground side, the dark side and the bubblier side of the current UK Garage sound. For people that haven’t heard a Garage record before, if they wanted an introduction to the sound now then this is the compilation for it.”
