ATTITUDE MAGAZINE LAUNCHES SEARCH FOR ‘YOUNG LGBT ENTREPRENEUR’ SUPPORTED BY VIRGIN HOLIDAYS

ATTITUDE MAGAZINE LAUNCHES SEARCH FOR ‘YOUNG LGBT ENTREPRENEUR’ SUPPORTED BY VIRGIN HOLIDAYS

Attitude – Europe’s biggest gay lifestyle brand – is to launch a search for its ‘Young LGBT Entrepreneur’ of the year, supported by Virgin Holidays.  The winner will be announced at the annual Attitude Awards in October and will be presented with a prize worth up to £10,000 – to include an advertising package with Attitude and an exclusive contribution from Virgin Holidays.
In the July issue of the magazine and online, Attitude readers will be asked to submit their nominations.  The winner will be selected by a panel of judges to include Attitude’s editor, Matthew Todd and managing director, Mike Buckley, together with Virgin Holidays managing director, Mark Anderson.

This year’s Attitude Awards will take place on the 14th October at Banqueting House, Whitehall, London and will, once again, see Virgin Holidays as the headline sponsor, having recently signed up for a further three years.

As usual the Awards will honour those that Attitude and its readers love and admire the most from the worlds of entertainment, fashion and politics. Attitude Icon Awards will also be presented to those who have made outstanding contributions to gay life.

Attitude’s editor, Matthew Todd, said: “We’re delighted to be launching a search for a ‘Young LGBT Entrepreneur’ which will add to the excitement of this year’s Attitude Awards. It will be our fourth year and we couldn’t do it without the continued support of Virgin Holidays, who has been the event’s headline sponsor since the very beginning.”

Mark Anderson, Managing Director of Virgin Holidays said:

“Entrepreneurship is in our DNA – after all, the ultimate entrepreneur is our company founder. We can’t wait to hear the stories of individuals from the LGBT community who are building exciting new businesses and – who knows – blazing a trail for others as they do so.”
